Caribbean Corridor Strike Force (CCSF) seizes 6.2 metric tons of cocaine
Since March 2024, CCSF HIDTA Group jointly with the Guyana Resident Office (GRO) agents worked together to locate a Self-Propelled Semi-Submersible (SPSS) transporting over two metric tons of cocaine. As a result of the coordination with JIATF-S, the USS LEYTE GULF was able to locate the SPSS 132 NM east of Trinidad and Tobago. USS LEYTE GULF seized 2300 kilograms of cocaine and arrested three individuals. The case was prosecuted in the District of Puerto Rico.
