Alex Ortiz

Alex Ortiz has been an agent of the Puerto Rico Police Bureau for 26 years, serving in several units, such as, Tactical Operations Division, Homicide, Airport Drug Unit, and Tactical Group Special Response Team (S.R.T.). In 2011, agent Ortiz joined the United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, and in 2021, became a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration, assigned to the Caribbean Corridor Strike Force (CCSF).

On February 23, 2023, agent Ortiz was promoted to Sergeant, and was assigned to the PR/USVI HIDTA ISC, serving as Acting Co-Manager.
